1. Use Green Screen SPF 15 All Natural Sunscreen
It's the broadest spectrum UVA & UVB protection you can buy, provides unsurpassed nourishment and is rich in DNA-rescuing antioxidants.
2. Regularly Reapply Green Screen
Outdoor activities (sweating, swimming, playing in the sand and even rolling over on your towel or scratching an itch) remove sunscreen. The AAD recommends reapplying every two hours at minimum, and after swimming or sweating.
3. Monitor Your UV Exposure
An easy way to do this is to press your fingers on exposed areas. If your fingers leave lighter marks than the surrounding skin you're getting sunburn.
4. If you accidentally get too much sun, get in the shade and apply Kabana Crème.
Kabana Crème helps your skin heal quickly by providing desperately needed nutrients and moisture. It can also prevent peeling of sunburn and will enhance the tanning process when applied after UV exposure.
5. Limit total sun exposure to prevent skin cancer & premature aging.
Keep in mind that 90% of the wrinkles we develop are caused by sunlight, and skin cancer is directly related to UV exposure. In addition to using sunscreen properly, if you plan on spending a long time at the beach wear a hat and bring a sunshade or umbrella along. Kabana's partner, the Sun Protection Center also offers clothing that provides high SPF protection, as not all clothing is UV safe.
Limiting exposure now will keep you looking young beyond your years. Skin care experts universally agree that sunscreen is the most effective anti-aging treatment, period.
